Job summary

A technology consultancy in Bradford is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technology Project Support Officer for a 9-month contract. The role involves coordinating infrastructure asset replacements and supporting project planning and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology operations and excellent stakeholder management skills. This position requires a hands-on approach, focusing on cloud migration and client hardware/software solutions in a dynamic environment.

Job description

As an Infrastructure Technology Project Support Officer you will be responsible for support with planning, managing and delivering infrastructure asset replacements in one of the following; cloud migration solutions; printer refresh; client hardware / software solutions.

Environment: 3 days in the office in Bradford

Contract length: 9 months (will most likely be extended)

Day rate: £250 inside IR35

Responsibilities
  • Work across the business but focusing on Infrastructure Services. Coordinating with IT and external partners to develop, agree and execute a detailed plan.
  • Support the Project Manager with project planning, risks / issues management, stakeholder engagement, resource management, oversight of application, infrastructure, Service transition, support and business readiness.
  • Form strong working relationships with Business and IT, matrix managing teams to ensure successful execution of the implementation.
  • Support planning and executing cutover rehearsal and back out rehearsal activities.
Key skills
  • Be an experienced Project Support Officer with a track record of delivery
  • Have experience of large technology operations and asset refresh programmes
  • Have experience of cloud software upgrades
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with Senior Management
  • Strong reporting and data analysis and change management skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills (Google sheets preferred)
