A support organization in the United Kingdom is looking for a Personal Assistant to support a young boy with autism and ADHD. The role involves assisting with daily routines and engaging in outdoor activities like swimming and cycling. This position offers flexible hours at a rate of £12.60 per hour and requires a calm approach to support the child’s communication and confidence.
Finlay – a clever, funny, and kind young boy with a big curiosity about the world around him. He has a passion for learning, nature, enjoys playing in the garden, cycling, swimming, reading, and visiting bookshops like Waterstones. Finlay also has a great sense of humour and enjoys good chats, comfort food, and exploring new places.
We’re looking for a Personal Assistant who can help Finlay live life to the fullest. The role is physically active and may require you to join Finlay in activities such as swimming, cycling, visiting parks, forests, and bookshops. You will support him with everyday tasks – tying shoelaces, shopping, using public transport – and help him navigate communication and social situations, encouraging confidence and independence.
