Job description

You are a part-qualified Patent Attorney with a passion for new technology in the fields of telecommunications and standard essential patents.

You should have acquired a minimum of two years post-qualification experience gained either in private practice or in-house environment.

You are looking for a firm that can exceed your career aspirations, whilst fully investing in your IP skills and experience to add expertise and strategic guidance to a wide range of new and established clients.

This award-winning international firm is looking to expand their Electronics and Digital practice group and is keen to appoint a talented patent attorney in training to assist with exciting new projects with established clients, as well as a growing pipeline of work from recent client acquisitions.

The prevalent subject matter is telecommunications, 3GPP, and Standard Essential Patents, so experience in this field (or related technical area) would be desirable. Much of the work involves direct client work on behalf of global telecoms providers, so your patent prosecution experience will be valuable to this established team.

You should possess an innate interest in the commercial aspects of IP work, as well as an ability to express complex information clearly and concisely. Hybrid working is supported with three days in state-of-the-art offices, within a friendly, modern, and progressive environment. Their bonus system and benefits package are among the most competitive in the profession.
