About our Nursery

Busy Bees Long Eaton has a capacity of 113 children and is rated "Good" by Ofsted. The nursery provides an ideal environment for children to receive the best start in life. With a wide range of activities available, there's never a dull moment. The facility features five bright, warm, and welcoming rooms, each designed to cater to various age groups, with free-flow access to a spacious and well-resourced garden area used year-round.

Conveniently located within easy driving distance from the M1, Busy Bees Long Eaton has excellent links to Long Eaton train station (a 15-minute walk or a two-minute drive). Situated near West Park, the nursery is surrounded by pleasant outdoor space. Free parking is available for staff.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities
