Job summary

A leading engineering company in Preston is seeking a Shift Technician for a 12-month contract. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a regulated or high-hazard industry (nuclear, chemical, power generation preferred).
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a rotating schedule.
• Required to undertake a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain plant equipment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance.
• Accurately record operational data and report anomalies.
