Night cleaning operative — This role

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off

Rate of pay: £13.18 per hour

In your role as night cleaning operative you will be required to work inside the Shopping Centre. You will be using scrubber dryers to clean all floors and mop all areas. You will use various cleaning machines to clean all mall areas and escalators. Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises; understanding of COSHH would be advantageous while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work under your own initiative and build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

Requirements and attributes: You will need to be able to communicate and read basic English. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, and you should have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You’ll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
