Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Dungannon
Shift Pattern: Dayshifts - 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000

We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer of machinery components supplying a broad range of clients across manufacturing, agricultural, and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth running of production facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on machinery and production equipment within the manufacturing environment

  • Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and servicing of equipment

  • Work closely with other engineers and production staff to ensure the smooth operation of all machinery

  • Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

The Person (Qualifications)
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)

  • Demonstrable experience in mechanical repairs within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical issues

  • Excellent communication and team-working skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
