Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote working with 1 day in every 2 weeks at our Stoke-On-Trent office (5 mins from station).

Salary: £Competitive + company benefits (Full-time/permanent role)

About the role:

This hands-on role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering to oversee the SRE function, developing real-world solutions, and ensuring positive user experiences. You will lead our strategy on software and service maturity, security, performance, and scalability across cloud infrastructure, with significant autonomy to shape the team’s future.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:

  • Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform management
  • API development and deployment in containerized environments like Kubernetes
  • Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
  • Collaborating in agile environments with business stakeholders
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • AWS services such as IAM, S3, EKS, Networking
  • CloudFormation/CDK
  • Working with serverless computing
