A leading defense contractor in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Health Physicist to provide technical advice on compliance with radiation legislation. You will participate in developing procedures for radiological protection and support emergency response efforts. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant STEM discipline, with desirable qualifications in radiological protection. The position includes hybrid working options and competitive benefits.

As a Health Physicist, you will provide technical and professional advice and guidance to ensure compliance with requirements of legislation, operations, training, maintenance, and record keeping. For this role, we are looking for a candidate to develop over time within the team. As part of our drive to develop home grown talent, we are looking to provide you with the necessary training, skills and experience, to enable you to fulfil this role.
