  • Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).
  • Support with mobility and use of equipment safely.
  • Prompt or administer medication according to care plans.
  • Keep accurate medication and daily care records.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Encourage independence and confidence in daily activities.
  • Support with meal preparation and dietary needs.
  • Carry out household tasks (cleaning, laundry, tidying).
  • Assist with shopping, budgeting, and household organisation.
  • Support service users with social activities and community involvement.
  • Help service users develop life skills (cooking, travel, money management).
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Work as part of a team with families, carers, and professionals.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and risk assessments.
  • Support care‑plan goals and update records as needed.
  • Attend training and maintain required care standards.
  • Support individuals with behaviours of concern (if applicable).
  • Assist with appointments, travel, or transport when needed.
  • Follow organisational policies, procedures, and CQC standards.
Requirement
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in the UK as a Support Worker.
  • Must hold a valid DBS Certificate (Enhanced DBS).
  • Must hold a Care Certificate or equivalent recognised care training.
  • Driving licence is optional (advantage but not essential).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK (e.g., British citizen, EU Settlement Scheme status, or valid work visa).
