Qualifications

Job description

Reporting directly to Director of Commercial Finance, the role will play a key role in strategic planning across the business, along with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and control of the P&L. They will manage a team of 3 covering Budgeting/forecasting and Management reporting. Providing scenario analysis, risk management support, costing; and project reporting across all of these areas. The post holder will be expected to develop and monitor KPIs and improve processes in conversation with others. Along with deputising for the Director of Commercial Finance, they will also support Group Executive colleagues with projects and further insight. If you're skilled at generating reports, analysing data, and turning insights into actions that drive engagement, we'd love to hear from you! We will require proof of ACCA/CIMA qualification if you successfully secure a role. Interviews will be the 4th February, face to face.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to inform insight and coordinate with teams and implement financial systems.
  • Responsible for planning and supporting data creation along with analysing yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasts.
  • Working with a wide range of stakeholders to understand business requirements and determine what reporting & analysis is essential to the organisation whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • Embedding Region wide change as we move to new ways of working and deliver new outputs. Designing and delivering compelling new insight using advanced techniques like Power Query/Power BI.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience of work in a Commercial finance role.
  • Qualified Accountant – ACCA/CIMA.
  • Experience in proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change.
  • Able to analysis data and make positive recommendations.
