Overview

Join our Field Engineering team. As the world leader in non-destructive testing (NDT), Waygate Technologies offers the broadest portfolio of industrial inspection solutions. Our solutions include radiography and computed tomography (CT), remote visual inspection, ultrasound and eddy current technologies. We ensure safety, quality and productivity for our customers across major industries around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Attending customer sites to provide technical support for on-site installation, periodic maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on X-ray CT systems.

  • Taking ownership of making key engineering decisions to provide effective delivery of customer solutions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance for planning activities.

  • Contributing to the development of an operational year plan for the department and activities of the team.

  • Following internal project processes to ensure procedural compliance and be able to make adjustments and improvements.

Must haves / Qualifications
  • Have relevant Electrical/Maintenance Engineering qualification.

  • Have proven experience in a previous Electrical/Maintenance Engineering position.

  • Be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of the maintenance and operation of industrial inspection solutions.

  • Be a self-starter, able to make key decisions and create innovative solutions.

  • Be able to contribute to the development of operational plans.

  • Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills.

  • Have awareness OFSE/IET IXS Waygate Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.

  • Be happy to travel to European locations for training and work primarily in UK.

  • Be home based ideally in England and be able to travel flexibly, at short notice and be away from home for short periods of time.

  • NDT/CT Systems experience would be advantageous.

  • Hold a UK work permit/passport and not require future sponsorship.

  • Hold a full UK driving license.
