Join a leading main contractor specializing in large-scale, complex construction projects. Currently, undertaking an exciting data centre development in Copenhagen, they are actively recruiting an Electrical Project Manager. This role will be on a permanent full-time basis.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the electrical installation and commissioning activities on this state-of-the-art data centre project. You will ensure that all electrical systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in electrical construction management, particularly within large infrastructure projects like data centres.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all electrical works on the project, ensuring compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
  • Oversee electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of systems within the data centre.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, etc.) to ensure integrated and efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and report on progress, budget, and resource allocation to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Review electrical designs and shop drawings, making recommendations for improvements or cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure electrical installation is performed in accordance with the project schedule and quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and work procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the electrical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and high performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical construction activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical construction management, with a focus on data centre, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, medium voltage, UPS, generator, lighting, and power distribution systems.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating multiple subcontractors and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
