Job summary

A leading delivery company in Glasgow is looking for dedicated drivers to ensure timely and professional deliveries to customers. In this role, you will drive locally, build lasting relationships with clients, and handle loading and unloading of stock. Previous delivery experience is preferred along with a valid Cat C / 18T Licence. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards customer service are essential. This role requires flexibility for weekend shifts and manual deliveries.

Qualifications

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
