A luxury hospitality team located in Castle Cary is seeking a Butler / Residence Host to ensure a refined experience for guests. This role involves welcoming guests, coordinating tailored experiences, and providing exceptional service. Candidates should have a strong background in luxury hospitality, a warm and hospitable demeanor, and a UK driving license. £30,000 per annum plus tronc and fantastic benefits
Full-time – various hours to meet the flexible needs of guests.
Due to the location of the Estate a driving license is required for this role

As Butler / Residence Host, you will be the welcoming face and trusted presence for our family and their guests at Yarlington. Acting as the main on-site point of contact, you will deliver a seamless, highly personalised experience, anticipating needs before they arise and ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed. Working closely with the Private Chef and Housekeeping teams, you will create an effortless sense of comfort, care and refined luxury throughout each stay.
This is a fully flexible, guest‑break led role, so you’ll thrive on adapting your working pattern to match stays, leaning in during busy weeks and enjoying quieter periods between breaks.

Thoughtfully curated for guests seeking privacy and comfort, our sensitively restored Regency rectory with two companion houses offers the freedom to self‑cater, the ease of partial service, or the indulgence of a fully staffed stay – all with The Newt’s signature warmth and attention to detail.
