Job summary
A leading tech company in Paris is seeking a CloudOps / SysOps Engineer to manage Azure cloud operations and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation scripting. Responsibilities include monitoring infrastructure, implementing infrastructure as code, and supporting system operations. Qualifications
- Experience with Azure infrastructure and on-prem systems.
- Proficiency in using infrastructure as code tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure components.
- Implement infrastructure as code for efficiency.
- Support DevOps pipeline with CI/CD processes.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Skills
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Operations:
- Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure, including VMs, VNets, load balancers, Azure AD, and storage accounts.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Administer Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and cost management tools.
- Support Azure DevOps pipelines and assist with CI/CD implementations.
- Configure and monitor Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and compliance policies.
On-Premises System Operations:
- Maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Manage virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware).
- Support on-prem backup solutions, patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
Job Description:
CloudOps / SysOps Engineer (Azure & On-Prem)
- Troubleshoot hardware, storage, and network issues as needed.
General Responsibilities:
- Automate routine system tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Ensure proper monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor, SCOM, or third-party platforms.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
- Respond to incidents, root cause analysis, and documentation of operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and secure environments.
