As an Energy Efficiency Business Develope r at GO2 Markets, you will be at the forefront of the White Certificate market in France, connecting with corporations, driving impactful projects, and promoting innovative, sustainable energy solutions. As a trusted internal advisor and subject matter expert, you will empower our team to navigate and shape a rapidly evolving sector.
This is a full-time position, offered remotely in France , available for an immediate start.
Drive GO2’s energy efficiency growth in France by delivering high-impact, scalable CEE projects , shaping commercial strategy, and strengthening market presence.
Identify and develop high-impact, scalable CEE opportunities in the French energy efficiency market.
Assess technical, financial, and regulatory feasibility of projects to ensure full compliance and successful certificate issuance.
Define and execute commercial strategy to drive short-term growth and secure long-term market positioning.
Build and leverage a strategic network of obligated parties, aggregators, installers, and key stakeholders to accelerate deal origination.
Represent GO2 at industry events to promote CEE, Guarantees of Origin (GO), biogas, and other sustainability solutions.
Strengthen brand visibility and client acquisition , positioning GO2 as a trusted partner in the French energy sector.
Monitor market trends and regulations to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decisions.
5+ years of experience in sales, trading, consulting, or a related field within the energy sector, with a proven track record of closing business.
Educational background in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, Management, or a related discipline .
Strong technical expertise in energy efficiency solutions, including energy savings and renewable products, enabling confident advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills , delivering trust-based client engagement and outstanding customer experience.
Creative problem-solving and empathetic listening, aligning customer needs with effective, tailored solutions.
Highly self-motivated and comfortable in an autonomous remote work environment, while valuing collaboration and team success.
