A leading supplier of chemicals is looking for a motivated Chemical Sales / Account Manager to develop business across Northern or Southern France. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or related field, 2+ years of relevant sales experience, and be fluent in French and English. Responsibilities include managing customer portfolios, driving sales growth, and providing technical support. This role offers the opportunity for home-based work with regular travel.

Chemical Sales / Account Manager

(2 positions – 1 Northern and 1 Southern France)

Location: France (Home-based with regular travel to customers)

Our client are a leading supplier of high-quality chemicals, reagents, and materials serving the life science markets in France (biotechnology, food, personal care, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries). With a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer service, we help research and production teams accelerate innovation and achieve reliable results.

The role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chemical Sales / Account Manager to develop and grow our business across either the Northern or Southern French territory . The successful candidate will manage existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and provide expert support to customers in pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of customers across the pharmaceutical market.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers, working closely with internal product and technical teams.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence on competitors and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology , or a business discipline.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in chemicals, reagents, laboratory supplies, ingredients or chemical distribution
  • Proven track record of success in selling to French customers .
  • Proactive, driven and customer centric mentality
