Job summary
A leading biopharmaceutical organization in Paris is seeking an Equipment Engineer/System Owner for a 12-month contract. This pivotal role involves managing site vision systems, ensuring their performance, and driving continuous improvement projects. Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to ensure preventive maintenance programs are developed and implemented.
- Strong performance analysis and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the availability, reliability, and performance of site vision systems.
- Oversee equipment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation projects.

Equipment Engineer / System Owner- Pharma - Paris - 12-Month Contract
Our client, aglobal (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for aEquipment Engineer / System Owner to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming french location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture ofBiologics.
Responsibilities and Requirements :
- You will be responsible for the availability, reliability and performance of site vision systems including maintenance, calibration, spare parts and general asset management
- The System Owner will also be responsible for equipment projects, continuous improvement, investigations, development of new technologies and commercial manufacturing support
- You will have knowledge and proficiency in the use of statistical analysis tools, continuous improvement methodologies
- CIP – SIP and COP – SOP Systems
- Formulation Systems
- Monitoring of day to day performance of their assigned system(s)
- Measuring and maximising the uptime of their system
- Performance analysis of key attributes of their systems and equipment to identify and proactively manage / improve performance trends
- Ensuring the preventive maintenance program for their system is successfully developed and implemented in a safe manner
- Ensuring that a critical spare parts list for their system is identified and appropriate levels of spares are maintained
- The definition and scoping of all process improvement activities relating to the system
- Anticipating, solving or escalating problems as appropriate
- All design reviews associated with equipment purchases
- Risk assessments and mitigation projects relating to system performance
