A leading mobile game developer in Paris is seeking a talented 2D VFX Artist to support the Art director and collaborate closely with the team on developing the game Cup Heroes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating VFX assets and a deep knowledge of Unity. In this exciting role, your focus will be on Cup Heroes, a game that has already demonstrated significant promise and captured our attention with its compelling core mechanics and engaging gameplay. This is a unique chance to join a project with established momentum while still having a significant impact on its future direction within a dedicated and agile studio environment.
Support the Art director in the ideation and execution of the game’s vision.
Work closely with concept artists and game designers to create top-tier effects and motion for core gameplay and UI.
Set up and build 2D VFX assets in Unity ensuring optimal performance on mobile devices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest VFX art techniques, production tools and workflows.
Propose creative ideas to boost player engagement and improve the user experience.
Proven experience as a 2D VFX Artist on shipped titles.
Deep knowledge of Unity’s VFX tools and techniques.
Excellent understanding of VFX and motion graphics fundamentals.
Versatility to work within a range of stylised 2D art styles.
Interest in mastering generative workflows to expand your work’s creative potential.
Ability to creatively deconstruct and learn from success cases.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
