Position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Accounting

Starting September 1st, 2026

The Department of Management Control, Accounting and Auditing of TBS Education is seeking to fill in one faculty position in the field of Accounting, to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in research and high-quality teaching. The position will be based in Toulouse. The Department of Management Control, Accounting and Auditing brings together 23 faculty members whose recent publications include articles in the following leading journals: Accounting Horizons; Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; Accounting & Finance; Business & Society; Contemporary Accounting Research; Critical Perspectives on Accounting; Economic Letters; European Accounting Review; Gender, Work & Organization; Human Relations; Journal of Business Ethics; Journal of Business Research. Candidates should hold a PhD in Accounting and should possess excellent teaching abilities, as well as the potential to publish in leading academic journals. They may have demonstrated these qualities during their post-doctoral experience or during their previous employment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the teaching of Accounting in French and English at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, they will be expected to develop lectures in their field of expertise for the graduate and the Executive Education levels.
