About the job

SAS is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner with a dynamic mindset to be responsible for the HR agenda in France, primarily focusing on Front Line organizations.

The HR Business Partner provides coaching, support, and influence to enable the business to effectively deliver their people plans, aligning with both business and HR strategies.

They provide consultancy services, offering advice and support to managers and employees on HR-related areas including performance management, career planning, leadership development & coaching, talent acquisition, total rewards/compensation, and policy interpretation in collaboration with specialist HR functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with assigned SAS business units to deliver value-added services that align with overall business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with HR specialist teams to develop and implement employee programs and initiatives.
  3. Work with SAS business leaders to develop action plans that meet organizational objectives.
  4. Provide guidance on strategic workforce planning and talent management.
  5. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; assist in performance improvement and conduct issues.
  6. Facilitate conflict resolution at all levels.
  7. Work closely with management and employees to improve relationships, boost morale, increase productivity, and retain talent.
  8. Provide policy guidance and interpret policies; recommend and implement changes.
  9. Develop and deliver presentations on HR topics.
  10. Ensure compliance with governmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

  1. Significant experience as HR BP in a global company.
  2. Excellent knowledge of employment law, employee relations, worker’s councils, compensation, and salary administration.
  3. Strong consultative, influencing, conflict management, and facilitation skills.
  4. Proven ability to coach and provide feedback to teams and management.
  5. Strong customer service orientation.
  6. Creative problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to develop HR programs aligned with business strategies.
  8. Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
  9. Team player with innovative thinking.
  10. Ability to see the big picture.
  11. Fluent in French and English.
