A leading global logistics provider is seeking a skilled professional to prepare technical project proposals and optimize logistics solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of experience, and is fluent in English. This role involves analyzing customer requirements and presenting solutions effectively. Travel is required as part of the position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, or 2 to 3 if worked in a larger 3PL.
  • In-depth knowledge of fully automated/mechanization solutions.

  • Preparation of technical project proposals
  • Analyse tenders or customer requirements
  • Propose and design operational solutions for projects in line with customer requirements
  • Translate customer technical requirements into workable processes to define the concept and details of the processes
  • Present and defend the proposed technical solution at customer meetings with the sales representative responsible for the project
  • Carry out technical and budgetary studies based on the customer's specifications and as part of the development of the logistics area
  • Optimize the warehouse design to meet the customer's specific requirements
  • In depth knowledge and design experience with fully automated / mechanisation solutions
  • From technical design to implementation
  • Support with continuous improvement and implementation colleagues to ensure an efficient solution design and go-live
  • Define the organization of the study with the inter-client (managing relationships with customers and BUs)
  • Ensure reporting and feedback on proposals
  • Provide advice and support
Applicant's profile
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, or 2 to 3 if worked in previous larger 3pl
