Qualifications

Activities & Responsibilities
  • Conduct hydraulic studies, primarily for dams and hydropower plants, including analyses of spillway, intake, and outlet capacities, transient flow behavior, and sediment management strategies;
  • Perform hydraulic design calculations to ensure compliance with relevant technical standards and project specifications;
  • Prepare tender documents for engineering services and construction works related to hydraulic and hydroelectric projects, both in domestic and international contexts;
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering and modeling experts, to deliver high-quality project outputs;
  • Undertake short- to medium-term field assignments as needed.
Requirements profile
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering (PhD is an asset);
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in hydraulic engineering, with a solid track record on both domestic and international dam and hydropower projects;
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, planning, and construction supervision of dams;
  • Strong knowledge of international standards and guidelines for hydraulic design (e.g., ICOLD, USBR), and familiarity with advanced tools and methodologies used in dam and hydropower engineering;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; proficiency in French is considered an asset;
