1. Position Summary
An experienced operational manager who plans business strategy and goals, manages a team of sales representatives within a defined geographical area, and monitors efficient revenue growth in such area.
Demonstrates a solid technical understanding of Abbott products and markets, proven sales skills, and leadership. Will also handle commercial relationships on defined key/large accounts.
2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)
- Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes.
- Exhibit professional behavior with internal/external business associates reflecting positively on the company, consistent with policies and practices.
- Understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences from improper performance of job duties.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Own sales revenue growth in the defined area, managing a team of sales representatives.
- Lead a team of sales representatives within the area of responsibility.
- Work closely with the General Manager and Human Resources for recruitment, onboarding, and development of the sales team.
- Contribute daily to the sales team’s performance using management tools such as coaching and mentoring.
- Plan, monitor, appraise, and review individual job contributions and performance.
- Contribute to sales effectiveness by developing efficient sales plans to achieve strategic goals.
- Control sales quotas and define actions to support their achievement.
- Act as a problem solver in complex sales situations.
- Maintain and expand the customer base using Abbott sales methodology—building rapport, asking powerful questions, and identifying new opportunities.
- Meet regional sales financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, expenditure scheduling, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support local quality management system (QMS) activities, including audits, trend identification, and change implementation.
- Ensure the team is trained appropriately in product knowledge and sales leadership characteristics.
- Lead internal key projects such as CRM implementation and connectivity partnerships.

- Degree in Business or similar.

- Proficiency with computer and office software, including CRM.
- Professional proficiency in English.
