This role involves leading project phases, updating specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, fluent in French and English, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. This is a minimum 1-year project with a start date ASAP.

Project Manager – Compliance of Digital Control System and Automation

Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Minimum 1 year
Location: Paris based + site visits | Languages: French & English

Context

• Align Digital Control Systems (DCS) and automation with company standards.
• Segregate Safety and Process Control functions for cybersecurity compliance.
• Ensure IEC 61508/61511 compliance.
• Address equipment and software obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project phases: pre-study, detailed engineering, and implementation.
• Update specifications and tender documents.
• Interface with engineering firms, production sites, HQ technical teams, and OEMs (Siemens, ABB, GE, Ansaldo).
• Provide expert guidance for pragmatic solutions within company standards and timelines.
• Benchmark practices from other European operators.
• Manage documentation and project governance (strategy, reports, planning).

• Technical document collection and updates.
• Project management documentation.
• Tender documents for detailed engineering and implementation.

Required Profile

• Experience: 10+ years as Project Manager in instrumentation, automation, control, and safety systems.
• Background in Oil and Gas industries.

• Languages: Fluent in French and English.
