A leading research organization in France seeks a full-time Temporary Researcher to focus on optical imaging. The successful candidate will engage in experimental optics research, manage experiments, and analyze data. Candidates should possess skills in optics, coding, and teamwork, and be able to communicate scientifically in English and/or French. Applications are open until December 5, 2025.

As part of a research project between the "Waves in Complex Media" team and the Vision Institute, we are studying new imaging methods for recording deep neural activity, using methods that combine physics (waves in complex media) and computational approaches.

Required Skills
  • Instrumental optics and imaging (microscopy, camera detection) for biology.
  • Skills in coding and experiment control.
  • Basics of machine learning and/or signal processing.
  • Teamwork.
  • Scientific communication in English and or French.
