Role overview

The role is designed with 70% of the time spent on Knowledge Management and 30% on People Ops topics, supporting Alaners with their daily People questions. This split is expected to evolve over time as knowledge management gradually takes up less bandwidth and more time for other projects. Below is an overview of the role's key missions.

Knowledge Management (70%)
  • Reshape the knowledge management strategy in alignment with our distributed ownership model, balancing creativity and scrappiness with Alan's fast pace and evolving environment.
  • Liaise with community leads and/or documentation referents in communities.
  • Enhance our use of AI for knowledge sharing.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements, tool optimization, and expertise development.
  • Own the documentation tool (Notion), including renewal, negotiation, and feedback.
  • As a second step, improve Alan's use of other knowledge tools such as Github, Slack and GDrive.
People Ops and Growth (30%)
  • Support Alaners as the first point of contact for People enquiries.
  • Possible evolutions could include: contributing to People Growth topics, taking ownership of internal communication, and managing individual situations.

  • For this role we are targeting to hire in the B0-C1 range on our level grid.
