The IPBS (Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology) is seeking motivated postdoctoral researchers to apply for Marie Skłodowska‑Curie fellowships and join our laboratory to carry out their research project.

Research Topic

The emerging research group “Early-life Immune Imprinting and Inflammatory Diseases” at IPBS Toulouse is looking for a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong track record in immunology. The exact project will be defined together with the selected candidate, but will be aligned with our central theme:

How early-life interactions between the host immune system and the microbiota shape long‑term immune imprinting and susceptibility to disease.

The project will involve a broad range of interdisciplinary approaches, including:

• Cellular and molecular immunology
• Omics‑based analyses (e.g. transcriptomics, microbiome, single‑cell approaches)

Experience / Skills Required

• PhD in a relevant field (or thesis defense scheduled before the funding application deadline).
• Strong publication record and motivation to apply for competitive fellowships.
• Solid background in one or more of the following:

  • Microbiology
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Animal experimentation
  • Flow cytometry
• Additional desirable assets (not mandatory):
  • Experience with gnotobiotic or microbiota‑related models
  • Experience with omics data analysis
