Overview

Join AXA HEALTH INTERNATIONAL, a dynamic entity specialized in international insurance solutions, generating over 1 billion euros in revenue. Within the “International Private Medical Insurance PARTNERSHIP” underwriting team, made up of 11 people, you will take on the position of Health and Protection Underwriter, with full responsibility for a portfolio of contracts.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Actively contribute to the growth of international group insurance (health and protection) in insurance and reinsurance, leveraging your expertise to support the sales teams in technical negotiations.
• Assessment and Pricing: Analyze, price, and propose competitive and tailored technical solutions in line with the requirements of prospects and clients, while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards and profitability.
• Product Innovation: Participate in the implementation of new insurance products in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage risks associated with the portfolio by assessing contract profitability, tracking client results (technical accounts and profit-sharing accounts) and recommending adjustment actions (remediation, changes to coverage, etc.).
• Implementation of International Programs: Collaborate on the contractualization and management of international insurance programs (insurance policies, reinsurance treaties), working closely with the contractual team and administration teams.

Qualifications

A thorough knowledge of health and protection insurance (group or individual) is essential, along with at least 3 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance.

A strong interest in international business and fluency in English are crucial, given the nature of our activities.

You have a background in underwriting, actuarial science, or a related field, which has enabled you to develop strong technical skills and sharp analytical abilities.

You are able to combine autonomy with teamwork, and you are recognized for your interpersonal skills, which facilitate your interactions both internally (Accounts, Sales, Claims, Technical Department) and externally (Clients, Brokers, Group entities).

A keen interest in figures and proficiency with IT tools are also required to succeed in this role.
