This will a 6 month fixed-term contract (CDD – Contrat à Durée Déterminée).

Role Purpose

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders in France, driving HR initiatives that support organizational objectives, talent development, and workforce engagement. The HRBP will provide expertise in French labor law, employee relations, and HR best practices while ensuring alignment with global HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Provide insights and analytics to inform decision-making.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with French labor law, collective agreements, and internal HR policies.
  • Support managers with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Lead investigations and manage disciplinary or grievance processes as required.
Talent Management & Development
  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with L&D to implement development programs tailored to business needs.
  • Promote engagement and retention strategies within the French workforce.
HR Operations & Projects
  • Collaborate with HR Operations teams to ensure smooth HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, HRIS).
  • Lead or participate in HR projects, such as HR transformations, process improvements, or cultural initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between local teams and global HR initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Extensive HR experience in an HRBP or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of French labor law, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and driving HR initiatives strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
