To bring this vision to life, Havas is nurturing talent across the business that is fully equipped to deliver holistic communications solutions (from omni-channel strategy through to implementation) ensuring audience planning and data integration throughout. 3D acumen (or rather 3C) is essential to ensure Connection, Context and Content are the principles driving our strategic communications solutions.

As Head of Strategy, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic vision for Havas Thailand’s most important clients. You will lead and inspire a team of strategists across both media and creative disciplines to deliver integrated, future-facing strategies that drive business transformation and marketing excellence.

This is a senior leadership position that blends high-level strategic thinking, client partnership, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction on key accounts, driving innovation, and building the strategic capability of the agency as a whole.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership
    • Set and oversee the strategic direction across a portfolio of key clients, ensuring relevance, originality, and effectiveness in all output.
    • Lead the development of omnichannel communication strategies that integrate data, media, and creative thinking.
    • Translate client challenges into actionable insights and inspire teams to build bold, meaningful ideas.
    • Actively contribute to annual brand planning, communications roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
  2. Client Collaboration
    • Serve as the senior strategic partner for client leadership teams, fostering strong, trusted relationships.
    • Challenge client briefs, elevate strategic ambition, and influence key marketing decisions.
    • Drive organic growth opportunities by identifying white space and translating insights into new business initiatives.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead collaboration between media, creative, content, data, and tech teams to deliver cohesive, insight-led solutions.
    • Facilitate working sessions, workshops, and briefings that align diverse teams around a common strategic vision.
    • Act as the key link between creative ambition and commercial reality – ensuring work is both exciting and effective.
  4. Team Leadership & Development
    • Manage and mentor a team of planners and associate strategy directors, ensuring continued skill development and performance growth.
    • Create a culture of strategic excellence, collaboration, and curiosity within the strategy team and across departments.
    • Provide training, tools, and frameworks that elevate the team’s strategic thinking and storytelling capabilities.
  5. Thought Leadership & Innovation
    • Stay at the forefront of cultural, technological, and media trends to inspire fresh thinking across the agency.
    • Champion innovative planning approaches, tools, and methodologies to drive strategic excellence.
    • Contribute to award submissions, agency marketing, and regional initiatives that position Havas Thailand as a leader in strategy and effectiveness.
Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degreein Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience

  • 10+ yearsin strategic planning, marketing, or a related field, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Proven successleading strategyon major accounts, with experience across both media and creative planning.
  • Demonstrated experiencemanaging teams and developing strategic talent.
  • Strong expertise in market research, consumer insights,and brand positioning.
