A global leader in shipping and logistics is seeking a Transfer Pricing professional in Marseilles. In this role, you will facilitate compliance and act as a liaison between tax and operational teams on various assignments. Candidates must have a degree in Economics or Management and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills. YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Group Tax Department, you will work within the Transfer Pricing team. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects across the Group’s different business areas.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting to the Group Tax Department, you will join the Transfer Pricing division under the supervision of the Transfer Pricing Manager. You will work on diverse assignments covering advisory, planning, tax audits, and transfer pricing compliance.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Act as a facilitator between the tax team and the support/operational teams, and provide assistance on transfer pricing matters relating to both operational and corporate transactions (conducting functional interviews, defining, implementing, and monitoring the transfer pricing policy, etc.)
  • Raise awareness among support/operational teams ahead of tax audits through targeted communication and training on transfer pricing issues
  • Transfer pricing compliance: updating the Masterfile and Local File (creation/update/adaptation of testing matrices), reviewing benchmarking studies, and reviewing Form 2257 filings
  • Assist with tax audits in France and internationally: defend transfer pricing policies and prepare documentation for tax authorities
  • Assist in the management and monitoring of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs)
  • Support M&A teams in reorganization projects
  • Review intragroup agreements from a transfer pricing perspective

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

With a higher education degree from a Business School or University (Economics/Management, Taxation, Audit, or Accounting), you must have at least 3 years of significant experience in Transfer Pricing, ideally gained in a law firm and/or within a corporate finance department.
