This role is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for managing and growing high‑performing software engineering teams that support core internal business systems. You will lead multiple teams focusing on critical services such as billing, business operations systems, data governance, integrations, and security‑related software. The role blends technical excellence with strong managerial capabilities, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions while developing the skills and careers of your direct reports. You will collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams to understand needs, implement impactful solutions, and continuously improve processes. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams within the Commercial Systems unit
  • Take accountability for the design, development, and operation of internal business‑critical products and services
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high‑impact solutions
  • Ensure engineering quality standards, reliability, and performance across teams
  • Continuously develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovative solutions, and operational efficiency
  • Manage project planning, priorities, and delivery timelines to meet business objectives
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong track record of leading software engineering teams in a high‑performing environment
  • Experience with software development in languages such as Golang, Python, Java, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and exceed expectations in complex projects
  • Professional written and spoken English with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Result‑oriented mindset with personal drive to meet commitments
  • Ability to travel internationally up to twice a year for company events (up to two weeks per event)
  • Nice‑to‑have: experience in performance engineering, site reliability engineering, data governance, data engineering, or business systems such as accounting and sales operations
