DATA SCIENTIST INTERN W / M

Part of the group Allianz, Allianz Trade is the global leader in trade credit insurance. Within AZ Trade and for more than 4 years, the Group Data Analytics department conducts advanced data analysis and builds data science / machine learning models to improve the company business and processes (risk assessment, pricing, underwriting, claims management, collection…).

As an insurance company dedicated to global trade, AZ Trade is the perfect playground for data science! As the foundation of our activity is to evaluate businesses around the world, we're at the crossroad of many and many information sources… and ultimately data and opportunities for data science models & analysis

As a data science intern, you will join a global team of 30+ data scientists, machine learning engineers and modelization experts and contribute to building and monitoring models

Missions

• Contribute to the overall modelling and monitoring roadmap of the department.
• Joining us as an intern, you will work on one or multiple assignments, for instance
• developing state-of-the-art tools to track generative AI use cases;
• monitoring of machine learning models through reviews and automatising analysis;
• working on a generative AI use case, e.g. in bond management;

Profile

Data Science skills

• Python (good knowledge is a plus, willingness to learn more is mandatory : -))
• data science & machine learning algorithms and best practices
• standard Python data science tools & libraries (Pandas, Matplotlib, …)

Other skills

• willingness to learn new stuff each and every day
• curiosity
• autonomy to propose solutions to technical or business problems faced
• ability to transpose a business issue into a modelling issue (and vice versa)
