Job Summary

Our Avnet Silica sales team in Massy is looking for an Account Manager who will be able to mobilize the internal and supplier teams to meet the challenges of its customer base mainly composed of various customers in the Industrial fields.

You will identify customer needs and apply company value proposition to drive sales growth and improved profitability. You will also develop strategic relationships and align customer and business goals creating and managing a business and execution plan for shared success among the customer vendor partners and the company.

In this role you will
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer interface to the company resources that drive and support high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty as measured in surveys and share of wallet.
  • Develop strong strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage the customers business goals, growth strategies and profit drivers to deliver the appropriate business value proposition sales solution strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement.
  • Perform critical customer analysis to identify and leverage the partners marketing programs to achieve growth in their customers solutions capability.
  • Engage customers in joint planning that integrates the company services programs and supplier partnerships securing customer commitment for the development of a comprehensive investment in strategies that advance the company market position entanglement and financial goals.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress toward revenue and growth goals and own execution of business plan.
  • Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers performing analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Support suppliers strategies by aligning solutions with customer to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
  • Prioritize customers and opportunities with greatest potential for success.
  • Visit customers at their premises regularly.
What we are looking for
  • Minimum experience required is typically 5 years with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
  • Experience with Industrial customers and/or experience in driving large accounts with multiple locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Motivated and dynamic personality.
