In this role, you will lead critical and highly visible products within the business. You will have the autonomy to set the technical direction of services and define the feature roadmap. You will collaborate with exceptional talent and have the opportunity to hire and shape your team to best execute on the product strategy.

As a Software Development Manager in our Customer Acquisitions space, you will be empowered to take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities such as:

1. Directly hiring, retaining, and growing top management and engineering talent within your group.
2. Serving as a clear technical voice, partnering with your teams to deliver global business solutions.
3. Delivering high-quality technical solutions quickly and reliably that delight our customers.
4. Contributing to business strategy and defining a compelling product roadmap focused on growth, in collaboration with product management teams across Amazon.
5. Communicating risks, successes, and challenges at the executive level while executing on a clear vision for the product.
6. Applying engineering practices and patterns across the full software, hardware, and networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
7. Leading the development of multi-tier web services.
8. Managing engineering teams effectively.
9. Partnering with product and program management teams.
10. Communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, describe software features, and define technical strategies.
11. Recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing software engineers to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
