A finance company in Madrid is seeking an experienced accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and provide financial reports. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a degree in accounting, and proficiency in Spanish regulations and accounting software. Formación
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a similar accounting or financial management position.
- Proficient in Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
- Strong skills in accounting software and Excel.
Responsabilidades
- Record and reconcile daily accounting transactions.
- Manage quarterly and annual accounting closings.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with fiscal and commercial obligations.
- Monitor cash flow and payment schedules.
- Provide periodic accounting and financial reports.

To perform the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
To ensure the accurate management, control, and recording of all accounting and financial operations of the company, guaranteeing compliance with current regulations and providing reliable financial information to the Company.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records.
- Meet all legal and tax deadlines.

General Accounting Management:
- Record and reconcile daily accounting transactions (invoices, expenses, payments, bank entries, etc.).
- Manage quarterly and annual accounting closings.
- Prepare and review financial statements: balance sheet, profit and loss account, and statutory books.

Tax and Legal Compliance:
- Prepare periodic tax reporting (VAT, income tax, corporate tax, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with fiscal and commercial obligations.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and public authorities.

Financial Control and Analysis:
- Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, and treasury forecasts.

Support to Management:
- Provide periodic accounting and financial reports.
- Collaborate in strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a similar accounting or financial management position.
- Knowledge:
- Spanish accounting and tax regulations.
- Advanced use of accounting software (e.g., A3, Sage, SAP) and Excel.
