Formación

Óscala is a Dutch/Spanish supplier of nearshore software engineering services. The company is HQ based in Haarlem (NL) and has a Software Development Center in the city center of Valencia.

Óscala works for a growing list of reputable clients in The Netherlands and surrounding countries. We offer our clients additional (remote) capacity so they can continue to build their state-of-the-art software solutions, web applications, mobile apps, and alike.

Each Óscala Software Developer works exclusively for one client and is an integral part of their Software Development team, working closely and daily with Tech Leads, Architects, and other colleagues from the IT team in The Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium.

To facilitate our employees' needs, Óscala operates on a hybrid office model, meaning work is performed partly from our Development center and/or a few days per week from home.

Currently, we are looking for a:

Senior QA Engineer

What you'll do:

  • Maintain and create test cases, perform test runs for one or multiple test suites;
  • Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms; sprint testing of the latest features;
  • Report bugs and collaborate with team members and clients to improve quality;
  • Perform various tests (e.g., smoke, functional, regress, A/B) on web and mobile apps;
  • Develop and execute end-to-end test plans.

About you:

  • 4+ years experience as Manual QA Engineer for web or mobile applications;
  • Experience with in-sprint testing, version control tools like GIT, and Agile methodologies;
  • Experience in UAT and stakeholder interaction;
  • Ability to develop detailed test plans and conduct thorough testing;
  • Basic SQL knowledge and good understanding of REST API;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level (Upper-intermediate/Advanced);

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Python;
  • Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.
