The role involves supporting legal matters in project development, risk control in investment projects, and drafting commercial agreements. Opportunity to join an international green energy developer company as Legal Counsel / Legal Manager, based on experience.

Job Responsibilities :

  1. Support legal matters in project development and project transactions (M&A).
  2. Responsible for risk control in the company's investment in power station projects (solar & energy storage), including participation in designing project acquisition plans, drafting, negotiation, review of contracts, risk evaluation and avoidance, project construction supervision, etc.
  3. Assist business development teams and other involved teams by drafting and negotiating documents supporting their activities, including commercial agreements such as EPC Agreements, land options, leases, connection agreements, PPAs, tender documents, etc.
  4. Support projects through financial closing by reviewing and drafting loan agreements, security agreements, and liaising with lenders' legal advisors.
  5. Research local laws, regulations, and policies, including company law, investment law, land law, construction law, civil and commercial law, photovoltaic power project policies, and operational aspects of relevant laws.
  6. Supervise external law firms to ensure completion of legal services for projects.

Qualifications :

  • Strong legal experience in the renewable or power industry.
  • Strong skills in legal research and writing.
  • Careful, meticulous, and able to work under high pressure.
