Key Position Summary
A skilled Information Systems Analyst is sought to collaborate with various research and manufacturing projects in labs. This role focuses on aligning business requirements with IT solutions, ensuring efficient and compliant lab operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements from lab teams.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and validation of IT systems in labs (e.g., LIMS, ELN, CDS).
- Drive process improvements and system integrations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate compliance with industry regulations, including GxP standards.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in lab environments, preferably within R&D or Manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with lab systems and workflows, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability: Open to external / contractual engagements with flexibility to work onsite or remotely as needed.
Additional Expectations
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and instrument software.
- Familiarity with industrial activities in life sciences and GxP procedures.
- Experience with Jira Software for demand and project management.
- Agile & Scrum certifications (preferred).
- Proficiency in Spanish and English; knowledge of Portuguese or French is beneficial.
- Expertise in relevant business areas.
