Formación

• High level of English is a must.
• Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development.
• Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry.

• Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals.

• Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control.

Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals


• Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars


• Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)


• Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments


• Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography


• Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance


• Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control


• Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department

Profile

• Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field


• Desirable : Master’s degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry


• Expertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong asset


• Familiarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valued
  
• Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry


• Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development


• High level of English is a must
