Una institución de investigación biomédica busca un Asistente de Técnico de Laboratorio para participar en estudios de genética bacteriana y preparación de muestras. Se requiere tener FP Grado Superior y cumplir ciertos requisitos de edad y empleo. La contratación es para un contrato permanente en Madrid, comenzando el 1 de abril de 2025.

Formación

• No estar empleado por Instituto de Salud Carlos III antes del 10 de junio de 2024.
• Estar en posesión de la cualificación requerida en la fecha de contratación.
• Tener menos de 30 años en la fecha de contratación.
• Estar desempleado hasta el día anterior a la fecha de contratación.

Responsabilidades

• Participar en el estudio del crecimiento de cultivos bacterianos.
• Construcción de cepas recombinantes para estudiar interacciones de proteínas.
• Preparación de muestras para la técnica Hi-C.

Descripción del empleo

The work will be developed in the research line: Pneumococcal bacterial genetics. The hired personnel will participate in the study of the growth of bacterial cultures under different antibiotic treatments and in the construction of recombinant strains containing fusions to fluorescent proteins to study protein interactions in vivo. On the other hand, they will carry out the samples preparation for the Hi-C technique (chromosome conformation capture)

Requirements

• Not be employed by Instituto de Salud Carlos III before 10th June 2024.
• Be in possession of the required qualification on the date of contracting with Instituto de Salud Carlos III (FP Grado Superior)
• Be under 30 years of age on the date of contracting with Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
• Be unemployed up to the day prior to the date of contracting with Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
