A vacancy has arisen for a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer within Airbus Defence & Space to be based at Getafe site in Spain.

The successful candidate will join the department and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team covering the Design and Build and Integration of the Laboratory Test Means used by all programs of Defense and Space.

Laboratory Test Means Integration Engineer is an essential role that deals with :

Responsibilities

The main activities of a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer are related with delivering technical solutions in integration and support of design manufacturing and maintenance of test assets :

• Electrical / Electronic design of Test Benches from System Architecture.
• Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews test reports and Project follow-up meetings.
• Problem Report solving and Change Request (modification) implementation.
• HW / SW integration for test benches.
• Test facilities management and maintenance.
• On Site Acceptance test with customers (Internal or External).
• Contribute to test bench validation activities

Required Competences & Skills :

• Degree in AeronauticalTelecommunications Automation & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge & experience in Autocad Altium designer or other electrical / electronic tools
• Abilities to accept delegation.
• Problem solving and decision making.
• Open minded and active to new challenges.
• Motivated proactive and team dynamic player.
• Committed in their own development to learn new skills
• Good knowledge of avionic systems; experience with mission systems data links or sensors is a plus
• Interest in complex systems and continuous learning in test and systems engineering
• Experience in software testing is beneficial
• Eligibility for security clearance by the relevant authorities is required
• Fluent in Writing and Spoken English (B2 level or higher)

Desired Competencies & Skills :

• Knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Knowledge and / or experience in work linked to Aeronautical projects.
• Knowledge of Airbus processes & procedures (SAP DMS).
