Overview

Junior Office Manager role at sennder in Barcelona. We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to support the daily workflow and operations of our Barcelona office, care for the office and people, organize events, and foster a positive climate.

The Role
  • Assist in the daily workflow and organizational tasks in our Barcelona office.
  • Support employees by addressing daily office-related questions and requests.
  • Help ensure office efficiency, including supplies, equipment, and coordination with service providers.
  • Contribute to the organization of team events and activities (e.g., monthly gatherings, summer camp event).
  • Maintain a sufficient daily supply of food and drinks for the office.
  • Support coordination with cleaning crews, maintenance, and vendors.
  • Support the People Team with internal communication and engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with basic office processes and policies.
  • Coordinate with the IT department on all office equipment needs.
  • Provide general support to office visitors.
  • Coordinate meetings, including room bookings, catering and other logistics when needed.
  • Support basic administrative documentation (collecting invoices, assisting with monthly expense tracking).
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of Health & Safety requirements in the office.
  • Collaborate with the People Team during employee onboarding (welcome, desk setup, access, welcome kit).
What We Are Looking For
  • 1–2 years experience in office administration, event coordination, or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning on the job.
  • Fully proficient in Spanish and English.
  • Open-minded, reliable, self-confident and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel is a plus.
