Role overview:

Working as a key member of the manufacturing team, as an Industrial Engineer, you will monitor, plan and design manufacturing processes.

This position will be based in LEAR Corporation Vigo.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plans, oversees, and coordinates activities concerned with development, design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
• Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization. Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety.
• Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.

Key skills and Qualifications:

• University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of production machinery
