The HR & Talent Management (TM) Specialist will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives while also handling day-to-day HR and TM functions and local/regional projects.

This position will act as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures by identifying organizational and people priorities, adopting a responsive, client-focused approach, and delivering best practice and commercial HR solutions.

The role holder will be part of a team comprising one HR Director, one Recruitment Manager, and one HR Administrative.

Main responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management, providing HR expertise and guidance on various strategic and day-to-day HR matters.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and projects promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional HR team, expert functions, and E2E (end-to-end) services to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the international mobility program for the Madrid office, ensuring seamless transitions for employees relocating globally.
  • Coordinate and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Work in conjunction with the ID&E Committee to support diversity and inclusion related initiatives and projects.
  • Design and lead on the HR related aspects of engagement employee activities such as summer and Christmas parties and other social activities.
  • Occasionally perform recruitment activities as needed.

The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications:

  • 4-7 years’ experience in a similar role ideally within professional services organizations.
  • A university degree or diploma is required.
  • Must reside in Madrid, Spain.
  • Must have a valid work permit for Spain.
  • Strong client service ethos and delivery focus.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible approach to adapting the role to meet current and future needs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR priorities.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well as a part of a team.
  • Strong motivation and resilience skills.
  • International experience is a plus.
