The successful candidate will oversee compliance with employment laws, handle employee relations, and implement HR strategies to support business objectives. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience in HR and a strong understanding of the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

You’re an experienced HR expert? You enjoy working in an international team?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Madrid (hybrid mode).

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment legislation in Spain (and ideally Portugal as well), proven experience resolving employee relations cases and has worked in the HR Business Partner capacity.

This role involves conducting thorough investigations, providing strong guidance on HR policies, and ensuring compliance with employment legislations. The focus on HR Operations lies on identifying the current needs in relation to the People Strategy, enhancement and streamlining of HR procedures and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with people managers and coach them to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives. Provide expert advice on HR matters and ensure alignment with company goals,
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in Spain and Portugal. Stay updated on legal changes and advise the organization on necessary adjustments,
• Handle complex employee relations cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Provide coaching and support to managers on all employee relations issues,
• Oversee employee experience throughout the employee cycle (ensuring it is aligned with our values),
• Support all cyclical HR programs (i.e. Performance reviews), provide feedback and liaise with employees and managers to drive performance improvement,
• Develop, review, and update local HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current and compliant with legal requirements,
• Collaborate with the wider European team on pan-European projects .
• Support and review all HR operations with the objective of simplification and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Profile :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering.
• In-depth knowledge of employment legislation in Spain and Portugal (and specifically control of working time).
• Strong people management skills , and ideally experience leading HR teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English . Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to handle pressure.
