As a Field Service Technician you will assist our customers taking care of the service needs of their installed base of Emerson Instruments including inhouse and onsite maintenance and repair services site installation commissioning and diagnostics startup and after sales support.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Carrying out installation / commissioning fault analysis and repairs on Emerson Instruments.
  • Providing diagnostics troubleshooting calibration startup services and technical support to our customers.
  • Executing the requested job ensuring that customers deadlines and expectations are meet.
  • Assisting Sales Engineers in the demonstration of products to potential customers and providing guidance in product application and after sales service.
  • Proactively identifying Service / Product opportunities.
  • Technically cleaning & loading customer orders into business system manage dates ITC and commercial terms.

You quickly and decisively take actions in factchanging unpredictable situations. You persist in the face of challenges and setbacks.

For This Role You Will Need :

  • Certificate of higher education in mechanical electronics computer science or skilled worker with relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience as instrument technician or similar in a process control environment with particular emphasis on diagnostics installation and start up.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language (verbal and written).
  • Good knowledge of English language (verbal and written).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel Work and PowerPoint) .
  • Driving license for car (class B).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

  • Demonstrated experience with : digital and pneumatics positioners field devices pressure flow and temperature bus communications hart foundation fieldbus profibus PA;
  • Knowledge and experience in repair and servicing of Emerson products;
  • Experience working in a matrix organization;
  • Analytical knowledge.
