Overview

We are seeking an Android Developer to join our Prime area in Barcelona or Madrid (hybrid) to scale our Prime program to a best-in-class membership experience loved by customers.

We are the world’s leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest e-commerce businesses in Europe. Our tech-driven approach focuses on consumer insight, innovative technology, market leadership, and Prime, the world’s first travel subscription program.

What you will do

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work with a top-notch tech stack including Kotlin, Java, Compose, Espresso, Gherkin, JUnit, Clean Architecture, Multinode, and a distributed, scalable app delivered daily with high quality, clean code, and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with talented colleagues who help you develop while contributing to the team’s goals, including participation in workshops, hackathons, and other IT community events.
• Be part of a high-performing cross-functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists, and others, contributing to product definition and ideation processes.
• Own features in your area of expertise and manage the full software development lifecycle, including monitoring the performance of product and technical OKRs.
• Support the design and development of innovative solutions to evolve our mobile app and deliver challenging business goals, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and delivering high-quality, well-tested code.

• Knowledge and experience with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Proactivity to generate new ideas to deliver solutions and identify opportunities to improve.
• Good technical English to collaborate with people across multiple nationalities.

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: practical use of tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Experimentation mindset: curiosity and eagerness to explore and integrate AI-driven solutions.
• AI-enhanced problem solving: ability to leverage AI tools to debug code and improve development efficiency.
• Adaptability and learning agility: willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new AI features.
• Collaboration with AI: interest in working with AI tools as pair programmers to complement software development.
